The unknown helicopter with at least six foreigners onboard went down in Azra district of Logar this afrenoon, leaving some of those on the copter dead, according to local officials. The Logar governor’s spokesman, Salim Saleh, told Pajhwok Afghan News the helicopter crashed in Kata area. He said it was a foreign helicopter carrying foreigners, most of whom died in the crash. The Azra district chief, Hamidullah Hamid, said the helicopter made a hard landing in Obakhti area. After hitting the ground, he said, the helicopter caught fire and Taliban militants also arrived at the scene and captured those alive and shifted them to an unknown location.
