ISAF MASSACRE SCRIPT

In the light of the recent 'Bye, Bye Miss American Pie' footage, it occurred to me that, whether or not the victim(s) in that case were 'insurgents', a crass statement from ISAF wouldn't be far away. Haven't seen one so far but if, as is being suggested, the victims turn out to be civilians, it will go along these lines. First, issue a newspeak denial: "We have no operational reporting that correlates to this alleged incident." That is until it becomes patently clear to all that ISAF did in fact brutally murder,say, an Afghan wedding party/farm labourers/wood gatherers, labourers digging roads. Occasionally, when it's no longer possible to deny the atrocity, someone in the chain of madness trots out and mumbles something to the effect “We are deeply saddened by any civilian deaths, we always try to avoid these and particularly regret incidents where civilians are killed as a result of actions by ISAF.”
