Images From Afghanistan

US army privates Kyler King of the 2nd Platoon of Task Force 3-66, Bravo Company of the 172 Infantry Brigade and Shawn Riggins (same Platoon) on September 6, 2011 in the FOB Kushamond. They look a bit exhausted by their struggle on behalf of Afghan womens' rights, as ISAF would have it. I wouldn't like to be an Afghan villager meeting them on a dark night. Although I bet quite a few villagers, have, in their own houses, on many a dark night.

  1. IMO There is no going back.

We will produce warriors, till there are no more warriors.

War is Peace -----Peace is War.

May God have mercy on our souls.

  2. I was reading a book about Gertrude Stein last week and for some reason a definition of the military came into my mind. The military (any country) is an organisation of unintelligent people which recruits not very intelligent people and systematically and collectively makes them even less intelligent. The two heroes in the pic here are a case in point I have no doubt.
