4 Afghan Soldiers, 2 Policemen Killed in Laghman Blast:
"Two other soldiers were injured in the blast.
The blast took place in Mehterlam the capital of Laghman, when the soldierswere were trying to defuse a roadside mine placed by insurgents recently, said Sarhadi Zwak Provincial Governor Spokesman.
The victims have been taken to a nearby hospital.
It comes as, more than 13,000 Afghan soldiers and police officers have been killed during the war in Afghanistan. Most of those losses occurred during the past three years as security forces have took the security responsibility from foreign troops, according to government."
