Attack on German Consulate in Afghanistan; 2 Killed – Handelsblatt Global
At least two people were killed and 87 injured after attackers rammed a car with explosives into the side of the building Thursday night in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan’s third-largest city.
The number of people injured was reported on Twitter by Bilal Sarwary, an Afghan journalist, who quoted the city’s chief doctor Noar M Faiz Mazar. Mr. Sarwary noted that of those injured, 10 were children, most of whom suffered wounds from broken glass.
