Five civilians, four Pakistani Taliban were killed when an old artillery shell they wanted to transfer to another area exploded, a statement from 201st Selab Military Corps said.
It added the incident happened in Gorega area of Dangam district on Saturday night. The artillery shell was decade old remained in the area from Soviet occupation timing.
But Police Chief, Maj. Gen. Juma Gull Himat, said that seven militants killed and five civilians wounded in the blast.
