The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said the airstrikes were carried out in Pasaband district targeting several hideouts of the militants.
According to the MoD, the militants killed in the airstrikes were actively involved in insurgency activities and had committed horrible crimes against the local residents.
The anti-government armed militant groups including the Taliban insurgents have not commented regarding the report so far.
