Afghan hospital bombing: MSF labels air strike a war crime | The Week UK:
Staff reported the "unspeakable" horror of watching helplessly while patients were burnt alive in their beds. The dead included three children and 12 members of staff. Dozens more were injured.
The UN has called the bombing "inexcusable and possibly even criminal" and joined calls for a thorough and impartial investigation to be launched.
The attack occurred during an offensive by US and Afghan forces to retake Kunduz from Taliban fighters. The city is a strategically important transport hub and was captured by militants last week.
