Pentagon Identifies US Troops Killed on Wednesday

The US Department of Defense on Thursday named two U.S.airmen who were killed Wednesday when their vehicle came under attack near a base in Afghanistan.
Capt. Matthew D. Roland, 27, of Lexington, Ky. and Staff Sgt. Forrest B. Sibley, 31, of Pensacola, Fla. were killed in the incident.
Roland was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla. and Sibley was assigned to the 21st Special Tactics Squadron at Pope Army Airfield, N.C. the department said.
