Extraordinary security measures adopted for Eid: Police | Pajhwok Afghan News: Lt. Gen. Abdul Rahman Rahimi told journalists strict security measures had been adopted in coordination with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the National Directorate of Security (NDS).
“Security forces are working day and night to thwart any untoward incident during the religious festival. People need not to worry about security and they should enjoy Eid,” he added.
However, he said people’s cooperation with security forces was necessary and should contact police in special circumstances.
