Afghans Protest Persecution of Muslims in Myanmar

Afghans Protest Persecution of Muslims in Myanmar:

Afghan protestors on Friday demanded the United Nations (UN) not remain silent on the brutality currently being visited on the Rohingya community in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. They went further to criticize human rights groups that have failed to respond to the actions of the extremist Buddhist regime in Myanmar.

"Today, we are gathered here to convey our message to all institutions and organs which are working for human rights, freedom and human dignity," one protestor in Kabul told TOLOnews. "The Muslim minority population in Myanmar are going through a tragedy and I am confused why these institutions do not express concerns about the issue."
