Australia’s former Afghan stronghold reportedly in danger of falling to ISIL

Australia’s former Afghan stronghold reportedly in danger of falling to ‘ISIL affiliated’ Taliban forces - 9news.com.au:
Australian ambassador to Afghanistan, Nasir Ahmad Andisha, confirmed the province was once again in peril.
“There is a youthful group and an extra radical group who’ve disassociated themselves from the older management and are affiliated with ISIL,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.
But he denied the entire area had been taken back by the Taliban, telling the newspaper: “they’re making an attempt to point out that they will take over a few of the districts”.
“It’s sadly the case that the extent of assaults, the depth and the sophistication, is one thing we have now not seen within the final four or five years.”
