President Ashraf Ghani said his administration plans to roll out robust economic programs for the economic growth and development of Afghanistan’s provinces.
Addressing representatives from five major western provinces at the presidential palace, President Ghani said he would undertake economic programs for the development of Afghanistan’s provinces, among which the southern-western provinces would hold the most economic value.
“We will divide into 8 economic and development zones so that every province’s economic contribution can be determined,” said Ghani.
He added that the nationwide infrastructure programs of the country would be completed in the next six months.
