Incidents Reported on 2nd October, 2014

Security incidents 2/10/14:
1: A Taliban suicide attacker killed three people on an Afghan army bus in Kabul on Thursday. "I can confirm a suicide attack on a bus carrying Afghan army staff," Dawlat Waziri, deputy spokesman for the ministry of defence, told AFP. See below. 

2: An ASI was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the early hours of today near Wazir Bagh area of Peshawar. According to Police sources, armed men opened fire at assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Asif Mehmood's vehicle near Wazir Bagh area in the limits of Yakatoot police station as he was traveling with his son to drop him to school. Police said that the assailants sped away on their motorcycle after the attack.

3: A bomb blast on a passenger coach in northwest Pakistan on Thursday killed at least seven people and wounded another six, police said.

4: Nineteen armed insurgents were killed in operation conducted by ANA forces in three provinces of the country.

5: A local police commander was killed in an explosion of a mine in Logar province the other day.
Commander Ghofran was going from his house to Pul-e-Alam center of Logar province, his vehicle hit a mine. According to reports, a magnetic mine was placed in vehicle of the commander and controlled from long distance.
