Obama Pledges $5B For 'War on Terror'

The cash is intended to 'help' countries in the Middle East, Africa and East Asia. They might have picked a better day for their announcement than one on which the White House advised US citizens to leave Libya because their safety could not be guaranteed. Remember Libya? Liberated in the 'War on Terror'. Another country destroyed. Syria could be the the next beneficiary of this type of help. Or Nigeria?
On Tuesday, he said the full withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in 2016 would 'free up resources' to tackle 'emerging terror' threats elsewhere.
