"The eight were pulled out from the 303 bus on the Kabul-Kandahar highway on Wednesday night and their dead bodies were found on Monday night in the Bawal Haq area, the deputy governor said.
Mohammad Ali Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the dead were yet to be identified, but their bodies had been taken to a hospital in Maqur by police.
A witness, Rahimullah, said: “The Taliban stopped passenger vehicles near the district bazaar. They wore Afghan National Army uniforms and asked for government and non-government employees,” he said."
