11 Killed, Injured in Uzurgan


At least 11 people were killed or injured following a string of explosions in southern Uruzgan province of Afghanistan.
According to local government officials, at least 7 people were killed and 4 others were injured following the explosions which took place in Charcheno district.
A spokesman for the provincial police department, Farid Ayel said at least 3 people were killed and another civilian was injured after a motorcyclist struck with a roadside bomb.
Mr. Ayel further added that four civilians including children were and three others were injured following three separate explosions in the same area
.
