US-led Airstrikes Kill Many in Khost

On Wednesday, the Afghan army said that the airstrike took place in the town of Musa Khel in the Eastern province of Khost, press tv reported.
Afghan officials say the US-led airstrikes targeted Taliban militants. However, the Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
On Tuesday, US-led airstrikes hit Kandahar’s Mianisheen district, killing four people.
Washington claims that the airstrikes target militants, but reports on the ground show that civilians have been the main victims.
The Afghan government has on numerous occasions warned Washington to stop attacks on innocent civilians.
