"A NATO soldier was killed in an attack by militants in central Afghanistan on Sunday, the coalition security forces officials said.
NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) following a statement confirmed the report and said, “An International Security Assistance Force service member died following a direct fire attack in central Afghanistan today.”
The statement did not disclose further information regarding the exact location of the incident and nationality of the deceased soldier.
This comes as two US soldiers were killed following a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday."
