One of the only Western journalists that I had have any respect for is Michael Ware.And he now seems to be in a metal state of hibernation.
I read he had suffered a breakdown of sorts. But he started reporting again recently. He was revisiting an old piece he had done while 'embedded' (bah) with a US unit in Iraq. It was a sad, typical embed, piece really. Unworthy of him.
