I don't think Libya is creeping so much that NATO's mission was oversold and misrepresented. Revolutions are protracted struggles by nature; Washington, London and Paris acted as though they could speed up nature. A main lesson of guerrilla warfare is that technology alone is incapable of such a task.

ReplyDeleteYes I would accept all that, James. There is another fly in the ointment, though which is that Ghaddafi has more friends than Nato thinks.
