Between 30 and 40 districts are facing high-level Taliban threat while threat against 20 to 30 districts are medium-level, Dawlat Waziri, a spokesman for MoD, said in a press conference in Kabul.
He added all other districts are under full control of the government.
Badakhshan's Warduj and Yumgan districts, Takhar's Durqad, Khwaja Ghar, Yangi Qala are among districts which are seriously being threatened by the Taliban.
