6 security personnel killed, 8 injured in Helmand attack | Pajhwok Afghan News: The Taliban stormed security check-post in the Surkh Doz area late on Friday night. Six policemen were killed and eight others injured, a well-placed security source said.
District police chief Amanullah confirmed the assault and said five security personnel had been killed and four others wounded. The militants also suffered casualties in the firefight, he added.
