2 police, 3 Taliban dead in Uruzgan battle | Pajhwok Afghan News:
The overnight clash broke out after some 70 Taliban fighters stormed security posts on the Uruzgan-Kandahar highway in Gardan Gaw area last night, said police official Ghulam Dastagir Almas.
He said the clash lasted several hours and the attackers were pushed back because additional forces were quick to reach the site.
