At least 30 people were killed and 64 others wounded as a suicide bomber attacked a religious ceremony in the sixth police district of Kabul on Monday, an official said. Islamic State or Daesh group claimed responsibility for the attack.
A statement from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said the ministry’s leadership had decided to suspend duties of the sixth police district chief, intelligence chief, crime branch chief and counterterrorism chief over the incident.
