The ministry said incident happened on Saturday morning near the town of Kandahar, while the troops were training Afghan police officers.
The foreign ministry offered no further details, and the incident is being investigated.
The soldiers were identified as Plutonier Iulian Dumitrescu and Sgt. Adrian Vizireanu. The injured man is in a stable condition and will be transferred to Germany for treatment.
