Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the attacks took place Sunday night in Meshwani and Shahskhel localities of the district near the Pakistan border.
He said the insurgents destroyed the towers of Etisalat, MTN and Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC). Police are engaged in a firefight with the Taliban, who lost two insurgents.
