Attacks on Afghan security personnel claim 10 lives in 3 days - People's Daily Online
In the latest militants attack, a group of militants raided a police checkpoint in Darzabdistrict at Jauzjan province with Shiberghan as its capital, 390 km north of Kabul, onWednesday, leaving four police dead, provincial police chief Faqir Mohammad Jauzjanisaid.
"The armed insurgents attacked a police checkpoint in Darzab district at 02:00 a.m. localtime today killing four police personnel," Jauzjani told Xinhua.
However, the police chief Jauzjani didn't rule the involvement of Taliban insider in theattack, saying investigation has been initiated into the case to determine the reason.
