Camp Bastion Farewell

At the height of the Afghan campaign there were 137 British outposts, including Bastion. But the base, Sterga 2, is the only one remaining. It is so small that a convoy will not be needed to bring the kit back. There is no reporting of the rapid scale of this retreat, or its causes and implications, anywhere in the UK media. Bland pieces like THIS have to suffice.
