Another Futile Death

I've been accused in the past of treating civilian casualties as more important than military ones. Of course they are. The civilians didn't volunteer for violence. Their deaths are needless and squalid. But deaths don't come much more pointless and futile than this. How many more worthless deaths will there be in the aftermath of Cameron's idiotic 'Mission Accomplished' speech last week.
