"A local security official in Helmand province said, the incident took place on Wednesday morning after a group of Taliban militants ambushed the vehicle of Marjah district police chief.
The official speaking on the condition of anonymity further added that the security guard of Haji Toryalai Jan was also injured the clashes.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident."
