GET OUT: Two U.S. activists to speak about experience with Afghan Peace Volunteers

GET OUT: Two U.S. activists to speak about experience with Afghan Peace Volunteers | syracuse.com: "American activists Kathy Kelly and Buddy Bell have been to Afghanistan a combined 15 times, invited as guests of the Afghan Peace Volunteers, a community of nonviolence in Kabul.
Tonight, Kelly and Bell will speak about their experiences in a talk called "Seeing through the Smokescreen: War and Peace in Afghanistan" at the ArtRage Gallery.
Both are activists from Voices for Creative Nonviolence (VCN), a campaign to end U.S. military and economic warfare. They will discuss life under occupation in Afghanistan and efforts of the Afghan Peace Volunteers.
Their "Justice for Afghanistan" speaking tour is part of a VCN campaign calling to rebuild Afghanistan's agricultural infrastructure destroyed by more than 30 years of continuous war and occupation."
