Unusual truth from the Post - almost thought it was propaganda for a moment.
I've read all of Obama's campaign speeches over the last two months, and every single one contains a single paragraph on U.S. foreign policy: something to the effect that bin Laden is dead, Iraq's war is over and Afghanistan is ending. However in the last few days he has dropped even his line from his script. Have to put more space between July, Iraq's deadliest month in two years.
We"re headed towards another election here wth no debate whatsoever on foreign policy, although Dems and GOP are thinking more and more alike in terms of "national Securty."
Yes. More's the pity Ron Paul wasn't more of a force. It was never going to happen for him or any other FP realist I suppose. Obama is a smoke and mirrors man. A straw man.
