MAIDAN SHAHR, Afghanistan, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Eight civilians were killed and two others sustained injuries as a rocket apparently fired by militants hit a residential area in the eastern Wardak province on Friday, provincial governor Hayatullah Hayat said.
