Afghan soldier Loses appeal for Digger Deaths

Afghan soldier lost appeal for digger deaths:

An Afghan army soldier who killed three Australian diggers has lost an appeal against his death sentence, but could still be saved by his country's legal system.
he news emerged during a pre-inquest hearing in Brisbane over the 2012 deaths of Lance Corporal Stjepan Milosevic, Sapper James Martin and Private Robert Poate in Afghanistan.
The soldiers, all from Queensland, were killed in a so-called green on blue attack, when an Afghan National Army sergeant, named Hekmatullah, opened fire in August 2012 with an automatic weapon."
